Yes, No, Maybe?
Negotiation is really critical for your success and I want to introduce you to a concept that we call yes, no, maybe. A basic idea that yes means yes, no means no, but maybe also means no. How often have you been told by someone that maybe they'll sell, maybe you'll be their agent, maybe this will happen, maybe it won't? No one ever should be your priority if you're just an option to them. Your job is to make sure that yes becomes yes, that no is no, and that maybe is also no, and learn how to negotiate so you can get better fees, better pricing, better marketing by being really good at what you do.
